School Council

Our school council gather ideas and suggestions from pupils across the school and help to make decisions about ways to improve our provision.

Between 2022-24, our school council have

• Met with a Trustee to discuss the strengths of the school and consider further improvements.
• Reviewed actions taken on items raised in previous meetings.
• Considered how the environment can be improved, including giving suggestions for redecorating areas of the school building.
• Shared their thoughts around fundraising.
• Helped to review our signing and communication across the school.
• Led on our plans to introduce end of year awards.
• Helped with large-scale projects to improve classrooms and learning environments, including the installation of astro-turf; Oaks Class toilet redevelopment.
• Support and planned charitable events.
